Victoria Falls - one natural wonder of the world

Victoria Falls is also called Mosi-oa-Tunya meaning “smoke that thunders.” One of the largest waterfalls based on width (1.7 km) and height (108 meters).

In 1855 Mr. David Livingstone, the first European saw the waterfalls in his exploring journey. By the end of the 1990s, about 300,000 people were visiting Victoria Falls annually and expected to rise to over a million in the next decade. It now becomes one of the most attractive places all over the world.

Victoria Falls and Zambezi river create the natural border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls is the largest waterfalls and strangest form of the gorges. You can be waken up by the sounds of Victoria Falls if you are staying at Livingstone Hotels or at The Victoria Falls, the water sounds even louder than millions of wild animal howls living in national parks around it.. From late November to early April, the river's annual flood season is February to May with a peak in April, over 50 kilometers from the Falls you can see the spray typically rises to a height of over 400 meters
The Falls are crossed by whole of the width of Zambezi river and connected by 10 biggest Chasms of the world. The best way to explore the Falls is to take a helicopter or microlight tour over the falls, named as “Flight of Angels”. And another way is rafting through the 10 chasms provide you the most incredible experiences.
Traveler should choose 9 days tours, but actually it’s never enough for exploring this Wonder and places around it such as: Livingstone – tourist capital of Zambia, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Zambezi National Park….
